Manusript Critiques
A manuscript critique includes a detailed report covering the same topics as a developmental edit as well as some writing technique, but instead of attaching queries, comments, or making changes inside your document, this service gives you a detailed editorial letter, leaving you to find and implement the feedback on your own. A critique is more budget friendly than a full developmental edit but is not as detailed or as specific.
Experienced authors benefit most from this option, as they often need less direction, and have fewer tangles to work out. That experience and skill serves to earn them a lower cost of editing, but this service also benefits newer authors who would like to dip their toes in before committing to a full developmental edit.
